While it has been a challenging period for the Title X program, AccessMatters – the regional grantee for the five-county Philadelphia region – remains committed to its diverse network of family planning providers and the patients they serve. Our network serves over 82,000 patients with preventive health services, including: annual gynecological exams, breast and cervical cancer screenings, HIV/STD screening and treatment, birth control, and counseling, information, and medical services related to family planning services.

Changes to the Title X Program have resulted in changes to our network of partner organizations. Several months into implementation of the new rule, our focus remains on complying with the rule and preserving access to, and integrity of, client services. The vast majority of our providers are continuing to participate in the Title X program – their doors remain open as Title X sites, and AccessMatters’ Information Hotline continues to help patients meet their needs. We continue work to expand our network to ensure that all patients who want and need Title X funded care in our region are able to access it.
