HealthyWoman Program

AccessMatters administers the HealthyWoman Program in Southeastern Pennsylvania providing screening and diagnostic services for breast and cervical cancer, and referrals to treatment for underinsured and uninsured women age 40 and older.  Women under age 40 may be eligible for HealthyWoman if they require diagnostic testing.  AccessMatters contracts with 20 health agencies operating clinical sites to provide screening services over 3,000 women annually. Women diagnosed with cancer through this program are referred to medical coverage programs to help ensure they receive timely cancer treatment services.  The HealthyWoman Program is a Pennsylvania Department of Health program and is made possible, in part, by funding form the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
